On the 26th of November of 2019, Albania was struck by a destructive earthquake that caused many to lose their lives, and many other their homes. A lot of buildings in Albania, lost their structural integrity and became inhabitable, unusable. “Shtodhër” is an elementary school and kindergarten in Kavajë Municipality, located on a hilly terrain with a perfect orientation, which was highly damaged by this earthquake. The newly designed building shall fulfil the needs for a new school, in accordance with the best standards. The colorful school in the middle of the green landscape, shall arouse the desire of the children to spend their time productively at school, and also it will be the reference point for all the residents of Shtodhër, with the concept of the community center. A school that gives the concept of Legos. With cubes of different colors gives children the idea of Lego game and invites them to become part of it, but this time to build their future.
