Residential Building in Tirana
This building is located,in Tirana,Albania. This building is far from complexity, which has been turned into a neutral facade with wood brisoleil,and allows the users to design the facade,by lighting the interior and placing their favorite plants and diversify their home. Using wooden elements in the facade conveys a sense of familiarity to the user and is reminiscent of the trunks of trees in front of the building. Also, this usage of wood is drawn into the interior and forms a part of the roof beams and furniture, which leads to the connection between inside and outside of the building. Along with this visual per ception, the touch of natural heat of the wooden entrance doors of the building contributes to this sensory richness.Residential and service building consist in12 floors ,with 2 underground parking floors .Consequently the building has an arch shape which on the side faces is closed with the existing object .The entrance to the building will be from the street, along the eastern facade.The ground floor has a function as service and commercial spaces.The rest of the property is used as a recreational environment for residents.Communication in verticality is done through three stair blocks /elevator (fire protected)with concrete cage and 1elevator.The two underground floors serve as parking spaces as well as the technical premises that serve the facility.All floors above the second floor function as housing.In total we have 54 apartments,of which are 2 + 1,1+1 and apartments 3 + 1. The logic of architecture consists in treating as much volume as possible pure aesthetics.
