Ethnographic Museum of Kruja
The design team took great care at restoring the museum's remarkable artifacts as well as the architectural elements, decoarations and murals with the intention of preversing them for the future generations. On another note, given that the object lacked space in relation to its rich fund, the design team fruitfully proposed the building of an additional structure in order to meet not only the museum's needs for space but also for the accomodation of other functions such as administration, sanitary facilities but also the technical facilities. A rear courtyard emerges from the newly added volume to remind visitors of traditional courtyards while allowing the volume to breathe.
